Law & Order of Fries

 Law & Order Donut

An article posted on MSNBC.com this week claims that Law & Order, Criminal Minds, and CSI are some of the shows that may be to blame for over-eating. According to a study titled “The Sweet Escape”, people “who have been recently reminded of their own impending mortality” tend to eat more.

…strange, because when I think of dying I’m more concerned with stuff coming out of me than going into me.

Naomi Mandel, co-author of the study, goes on to say “If people are watching and thinking something like this could happen to them, it’s likely to cause them to overconsume.”

…Interesting, because reversely, whenever I watch Rachel Ray I feel like killing someone.

Rachel Ray should die a painful death.

If you are continuously sitting in front of the TV regardless if you are watching HeeHaw or Law & Order, you are more likely to “overconsume”. It doesn’t take a PhD to figure this out. DUH—Get off your big fat ass and quit staring at the TV and eating bags of chips—–go outside and get some exercise.
Hey Naomi—-quit wasting your time performing worthless research and get a job that actually contributes to society!!
